Each day at 12noon Eastern time join Mona live at the ashram for cooking class or healing and wellness workshops. Get a feel for the ashram and connect with the onsite participants. When you join live you will be able to ask questions and have them answered in real time.

Essentials of Yoga: Create a Daily Home Practice

Sivananda yoga is a traditional, exact, and easy-to-learn system that aims to create a healthy body and mind, that naturally leads to spiritual evolution.

In this course you will learn a routine of essential yoga postures for daily tuning up your body, building strength, balance, focus, and physical intelligence. Experience guided practice and enjoy the benefits of better breathing and deep relaxation.

Starting a meditation practice on your own can feel overwhelming, even when you know how much it will benefit you. Whether you are brand new to meditation or want to refresh your inner discipline, this course gives you the building blocks for a strong meditation practice.

Meditation teaches us to overcome negative emotions, like anger, depression, or anxiety, and to enhance our health and happiness. In this course, you’ll learn to improve your focus in your daily life and build a positive outlook.

Mona grew up living at the Sivananda Ashram and has seen first-hand the healing power of food, yoga, and mindfulness. Her approach is rooted in ashram philosophy – food as medicine, movement as therapy, and mindfulness as the journey to optimal health. This was the foundation that led to her recovery from two heart surgeries, debilitating anxiety, and ultimately changed her career path from a high-profile corporate job.
