Karma yoga is the yoga of action. It teaches us how to convert all of our activities into a yogic practice.

This course is taught with a view to help practitioners understand the real purport and importance of Karma Yoga and to gain the ability to practice it. The course will give the students all the necessary tools for the successful application of the practice .

The practice of karma yoga removes selfishness and egotism, renders the heart pure and qualifies the practitioner to make progress on the spiritual path.

Not all yoga practitioners know that the practice of karma yoga is essential and indispensable for all sincere spiritual aspirants. Without this practice, no substantial progress is possible. Karma yoga is the basis of all yogas.

Jnaneshwari Chaitanya

Jnaneshwari Chaitanya is a senior teacher of the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers. She joined the Sivananda organization in 2001 and was initiated into Brahmacharya in 2016.

An experienced and devoted practitioner of Yoga, meditation and philosophical studies, she regularly teaches Yoga and Vedanta in the ashram programs and the Bhagavad Gita in Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training Courses. Jnaneshwari Chaitanya is known for her clear and pure way of communicating yogic knowledge and its application in daily life.
