The Nature of Reality: Perspectives from Science and the Non-Dual Traditions

Science has achieved great heights of understanding the nature of the universe. General Relativity has succeeded in describing the large scale of the universe while Quantum Mechanics holds an extraordinarily accurate theory of the microcosm. But just because we can understand and explain the parts of the Universe does not mean we understand the whole. Science still cannot explain how everything fits together from the tiniest particles to the vast cosmos.
The view from ancient non-dual schools like Advaita Vedanta and Triadic Saivism is that the underlying Reality, the very fabric of existence, is Consciousness. In this program join leading thought experts as they use perspectives from General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics to examine the ancient Vedic truths, the scriptures of the non-dual paths, and weave an integrated vision of understanding and knowledge that is tied to the very Being of who we are, the Self of all. This dialogue between ancient systems and modern science, while not negating either, allows for an integrated, underlying Reality that holds everything together.
