Open your heart and experience Divine Love through the study and practice of Bhakti Yoga – the yoga of Devotion. In this transformative 8-week journey you will deepen your connection to the Divine and to your True Self, gain mastery over your mind, learn how to manage your lower emotions and transform them into higher emotions such as love, compassion and joy.
The course includes in-depth study of The Narada Bhakti Sutra, an ancient vedic text on Bhakti Yoga. Explore the birth, growth, development, unfoldment, and expression of Divine Love and learn how to practice it in your daily life.
Learn the 9 practices of Bhakti Yoga including listening to stories, singing kirtan, performing puja (rituals), japa (repetition of the Divine Name) and others. Receive guidance on how to arrange a special place for your practice including an altar. Benefit from personal guidance that will be offered to you during these 8 weeks (in classes and in between classes) to help you establish a steady and constant practice of Bhakti Yoga.

- Theory and practice of Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of Divine Love
- The inspiring life story of Narada Muni and what we can learn from it in our own practice of Bhakti Yoga.

- Bhakti Sadhana – How to develop Bhakti: study and practice of the 9 modes of Bhakti including personal guidance to each student to develop their own daily practice.
- The importance of Satsanga, the company of the wise, and how to practice it.
- How to cross Samsara (the wheel of birth and death, the ocean of pain and suffering)
- Practical tips and instructions for practitioners of Bhakti Yoga
- The glory of Bhaktas and why Bhakti is the best means for God Realization.

This program is offered live through Zoom webinar with the availability for students to interact through Q&A with the presenter.
For enrolled students, a video recording will be available after each class in the event you miss a class or would like to review the content.
It is possible to register and take the course at any time. You can catch up on any classes you miss with the recordings.
Requirements and Recommendations:
- No experience necessary. This program is open to beginners as well as advanced practitioners.
- Viewing Device: Desktop or laptop computer will provide the best experience, although you can also connect via a tablet or smartphone.
- Internet connection: High-speed broadband wired or wireless is best.
- Video: Download Zoom to your computer, or install the Zoom app to your device. For interactive group sessions, a webcam or integrated camera will allow others to feel more connected with you.
- Audio: Headphone speakers are recommended. If you wish to participate vocally, a headset with a microphone will be ideal.

Rukmini Chaitanya
Rukmini Chaitanya is a senior staff member of the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat Bahamas, and the personal assistant to Swami Swaroopananda, the Acharya, or spiritual director of the Ashram. She regularly teaches the Bhagavad Gita during the Sivananda Yoga Teacher training as well as other courses on the Bhagavad Gita, Vedanta, positive thinking, meditation, and yoga philosophy.
Rukmini Chaitanya is known for her enthusiastic and inspiring teaching style as well as for her devotion to the lineage and the scriptures. She is dedicated to each of her students and has an innate desire to share knowledge with them.
