Sadhana Challenge

The spiritual practice assists the individual on their path towards ultimate freedom.
This Sadhana challenge will support participants in cultivating a strong daily habit of practicing Asanas, Pranayama and Meditation. In addition, we will systematically cultivate healthy habits and positive thinking, courage , forgiveness ,cheerfulness and love.
The classes will be half theory and half practice (Pranayama and Sun Salutations). Students will receive recordings to use for their own practice. The participants will be guided in the use of an online spiritual diary that supports and guides them personally throughout the challenge.
Course Schedule
Lesson 1:Conquest of Fear
Learn the Yogic techniques to overcome fear.Realize the great benefits of cultivating courage.Through proper practice develop the ability to face life’s challenges with great confidence.
Lesson 2: The Art of Forgiveness
To err is human to forgive is divine.
By practice of forgiveness you become strong and noble. Understand the importance of forgiveness and learn to apply it in daily life.
Lesson 3: Cheerfulness is the best tonic
Be Cheerful always. It gives radiant health and peace.
Cheerfulness is a habit of the mind. A cheerful person is like a sunny day, he radiates brightness all around.
Lesson 4: Seeing the good in others
Develop the good finding nature in others. Understand the great benefits of seeing the good in others
and learn to overcome the tendencies of judging and criticizing others.
Lesson 5: Contentment is bliss
Contentment is the greatest blessing a person can enjoy in this world.
It is the best medicine. Recognize the importance of contentment and gain the knowledge of how to attain it.
Lesson 6: The Power of Love
Love is the master key to open the door of Moksha or eternal bliss. practice Love in the daily battle of life.
Eat in love, drink in love, bath in love, serve in love, talk in love, think in love. Become an embodiment of love.

This program is offered live through Zoom webinar with the availability for students to interact through Q&A with the presenter.
For enrolled students, a video recording will be available after each class in the event you miss a class or would like to review the content.
It is possible to register and take the course at any time. You can catch up on any classes you miss with the recordings.
Requirements and Recommendations:
- No experience necessary. This program is open to beginners as well as advanced practitioners.
- Viewing Device: Desktop or laptop computer will provide the best experience, although you can also connect via a tablet or smartphone.
- Internet connection: High-speed broadband wired or wireless is best.
- Video: Download Zoom to your computer, or install the Zoom app to your device. For interactive group sessions, a webcam or integrated camera will allow others to feel more connected with you.
- Audio: Headphone speakers are recommended. If you wish to participate vocally, a headset with a microphone will be ideal.

Swami Paramananda
Swami Paramananda is a monk and senior teacher of the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers . Swami Paramananda joined the Sivananda organization in 2006 and was initiated into Sannyasa (monasticism) in 2016.
A long-time practitioner of yoga, meditation and philosophical studies, he regularly teaches in the Sivananda Yoga Teachers’ Training Courses as well as the Advanced Yoga Teachers’ Training Courses. He also teaches online courses and guides students from around the world in their practice and study.
Swami Paramananda is a much-loved, inspiring, and gifted teacher.
