Sadhana: A Practical Guide to Living Spiritual Practice in Daily Life
Jnaneshwari Chaitanya
12 WEEKLY SESSIONS, Tuesdays, 3:00-4:30pm ET
“An ounce of practice is better than tons of theory.”
– Swami Sivananda
Sadhana is not a single practice, but a complete way of living—one that brings together discipline, self-observation, inner effort, and transformation.
If you feel the need for greater steadiness in your practice, if you wish to bring more clarity, depth and consistency into your spiritual life, and if you are looking for guidance on how to live Sadhana in a practical and meaningful way, this course is for you.
Drawing from the remarkable teachings of Swami Sivananda on Sadhana, we will explore how to establish a strong foundation, sustain practice over time, and integrate it into daily life.
Through a guided and focused approach, we will reflect on key aspects of Sadhana that support a balanced and sustainable practice. The aim is not only to understand Sadhana, but to live it more consciously and steadily.
Each session includes guided pranayama and meditation, supporting the assimilation of the teachings into direct experience.
Jnaneshwari Chaitanya will guide the study, offering explanation, reflection, and space for questions.
This course is open to all, whether you are new to the spiritual path or already established in your practice. The teachings and practices will be presented in a clear and accessible way, so that each participant can engage at their own level. Care will be taken to ensure that everyone is able to follow and practice together, allowing both beginners and more experienced students to benefit in a meaningful and supportive environment.
Join this course to receive guidance and support, and to cultivate greater clarity, steadiness, and continuity in your Sadhana.
Among the topics we will explore:
- The meaning and foundations of Sadhana
- The prerequisites and essential principles of spiritual life
- The psychology of Sadhana: understanding the mind and its tendencies (vasanas)
