Course Description :

Moudule One: Getting to Know Yourself Through the Lens of Ayurveda
and The Cause of Disease

In this program you will learn the basic principles of Ayurveda as you begin to understand yourself in a whole new and empowering way. You will gain insights into how Ayurveda utilizes the laws of nature to affect healing and to prevent disease as you view your own health through the lens of the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. In addition, we will explore the Cause of Disease as explained in classical Ayurvedic texts.

Moudule Two: Cultivating Ojas, the Vital Essence of Health and Immunity

Ojas is a subtle energy the protects the body and mind from disease. It is our strength, immunity, and vitality. With sufficient Ojas, disease won’t affect you and you remain strong in the face of the storms of life. Without it, you can succumb to illness along with fatigue and mental instability. But what is Ojas and how to cultivate it? Optimal nutrition and digestion are key, and in this program we will explore the Ayurvedic approach to nutrition, the paramount importance of healthy digestion, and steps you can take to ensure you have a healthy Ojas “raincoat” to withstand the tempest of life.

Moudule Three: Creating Healthy Lifestyle Routines: The Cornerstone of Optimal Health and Spiritual Self-Awareness

According to Ayurveda, it is what you do on a daily, consistent basis that is the greatest determiner of health. Healthy habits lead to optimal health, unhealthy habits open the door to disease and disharmony. But what constitutes healthy lifestyle routines, and what will best serve you? In this program, you will learn time-tested lifestyle routines and practices that can transform your life and set you up for a lifetime of balance and health.

Moudule Four: Remembering Who You Are and Why You Are Here

Ayurveda teaches that “the primordial cause of disease is forgetting your true nature as spirit.” What does this mean and how can you be reminded of your true nature? Many of us have forgotten who we truly are – that we are love, nothing more and nothing less. That we are all one, nothing more and nothing less. That we are existence, knowledge, and bliss absolute. In this program, we will discuss the ways in which Ayurveda serves to remind us of these great Truths, and how we can embrace these Truths all the days of our lives.
