Kena Upanishad Immersion
Swamini Atmaprakashananda Saraswati
Course Description:
The student inquiries: “Who makes my mind think? Who fills my body with vitality? Who causes my tongue to speak? Who is that Invisible One who sees through my eyes And hears through my ears?”
This program will bring alive the Kena Upanishad, a classic Vedic text that opens by questioning the nature of being human and the origins, essence, and relationship we have with knowledge — how do we know what we know? — and sensory perception. “Kena” translates as “by whom,” and Kena Upanishad emerged out of the desire to probe the nature of existence, asking, “By whom is this world created? By whom has existence become possible? By whom are we alive and able to breathe? Who is behind all this? Who makes the world possible?”
In this enlightening series of engaging and poignant presentations, you will discover how the timeless wisdom of the Kena Upanishad points us toward our true nature, answering important questions on the spiritual path.
