In the Bhagavad Gita, the great warrior Arjuna stands at a decisive moment in his life. Facing the prospect of war against his own relatives and teachers, he finds himself unable to act. Confronted with the weight of his responsibilities and the limits of his understanding, he turns to Lord Krishna for guidance. This moment becomes the doorway to one of the most profound spiritual teachings ever given.
The Bhagavad Gita shows us that such moments of uncertainty are not obstacles on the spiritual path, but invitations to deeper reflection. When we pause, question, and turn inward with sincerity, understanding can begin to unfold. Through Lord Krishna’s guidance, Arjuna is gradually led toward steadiness, discernment, and insight into the nature of the Self.
In this free webinar we will reflect on key teachings of the Bhagavad Gita that illuminate this inward turning toward understanding. By looking at a few essential verses, we will explore what remains steady and unchanging within us, and how conscious effort plays a role in relating wisely to habit and nature. These reflections offer a grounded way of approaching life with greater understanding and balance.
We will also explore:
- Arjuna’s Crisis: When Inner Conflict Becomes a Turning Point
- Confusion as the Beginning of Wisdom
- The Immortality of the Self
- What We Truly Are Beyond Change
- The Role of Self-Effort (Purushartha)
