Course Description:
Join us for a 4 week live online course on Zoom designed for those wanting to begin or build a foundation in a study of the harmonium, music, and kirtan. The harmonium is the perfect companion for chanting and support for your practice of Bhakti Yoga, one of the Four Paths of Yoga according to Swami Sivananda’s Yoga of Synthesis. In this course, you will not only learn new skills and techniques to help develop your personal practice, but you will also get to be a part of a community of other seekers on this path. Seth facilitates a learning environment that is interactive, fun, and engaging. Each class will provide opportunities to connect with other members of the course, share your questions and progress, and receive positive feedback and encouragement from Seth and your fellow participants.
Class size is limited to allow for more personal attention and a more intimate, group experience. Early registration is recommend to ensure a space. You will need a harmonium to participate. A borrowed instrument will work, and if you would like to purchase one of your own please scroll down for recommendations from Seth.

This program is offered live through Zoom webinar with the availability for students to interact through Q&A with the presenter.
For enrolled students, a video recording will be available after each class in the event you miss a class or would like to review the content.
Requirements and Recommendations:
- A harmonium and the desire to learn how to play it.
- No music experience necessary.
- Viewing Device: Desktop or laptop computer will provide the best experience, although you can also connect via a tablet or smartphone.
- Internet connection: High-speed broadband wired or wireless is best.
- Video: Download Zoom to your computer, or install the Zoom app to your device. For interactive group sessions, a webcam or integrated camera will allow others to feel more connected with you.
- Audio: Headphone speakers are recommended. If you wish to participate vocally, a headset with a microphone will be ideal.

Seth Lieberman
Seth Lieberman is a classically trained musician and yoga instructor residing in Kingston, New York. He began teaching the harmonium and yoga in 2010 after graduating from the first of three yoga teacher trainings he took in New York City. Since then, he has worked with over 150 music students in private and group settings, both in person and virtually, motivating and inspiring them through his passion for sharing music within a spiritual and holistic context. In addition to education, Seth is a composer, performer and kirtan leader.
